Three men identified as ring leader Lin Li, aka Aaron Li, 37, of Chino, Ben Chen, 42, of Alhambra, who allegedly took care of the marijuana grows, and Jimmy Yu, 44, of Pasadena, a second alleged grow house caretaker, were arrested on federal charges alleging they took part in a scheme that used millions of dollars wired from China to purchase seven residential homes in San Bernardino County that were converted into illegal marijuana grow houses.
According to a 120-page affidavit in support of the criminal complaint, Li, a real estate agent, orchestrated a scheme that purchased residential properties through transactions designed to conceal the homes’ true owners, converted the houses to marijuana grow operations, and trafficked marijuana, with most of the processed marijuana being sold to customers in California and Nevada.
Today’s takedown is the result of a 14-month investigation that was initiated by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and soon after was joined by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
In relation to the criminal charges, the US Attorney’s Office, in coordination with the HSI’s Asset Identification and Removal Group, has begun the process to forfeit the seven homes where marijuana was being grown
As a result of the searches, authorities seized approximately 1,650 marijuana plants from several grow houses, as well as cash at Li’s house currently estimated to be at least $80,000.

El Aissami and Lopez Bello allegedly used private jets to set up private meetings around the globe including Turkey and Russia,” said Angel M. Melendez, special agent in charge of HSI New York.
“International sanctions restrain the activities of individuals and countries deemed to have policies and practices incompatible with the US from receiving the full benefit of economic, political, humanitarian, and other support the US provides globally. Former Venezuelan Vice President Tareck Zaidan El Aissami Maddah allegedly evaded the sanctions imposed by OFAC by employing US companies to provide international transport via private jet. The enforcement of these sanctions is critical to the national security interests of the US, and I commend our law enforcement partners for their vigilance and assistance in bringing today’s charges,” said Geoffrey S. Following an investigation by ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York’s El Dorado Task Force, the former Venezuelan Vice President Tareck Zaidan El Aissami Maddah (“El Aissami”) and Venezuelan businessman Samark Jose Lopez Bello were charged Thursday with criminal violations of the Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Designation Act (“Kingpin Act”) and sanctions imposed in February 2017 by the US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) pursuant to the Kingpin Act.

Under the leadership of President Trump, the United States adopted tougher border policies, with law enforcement officials at the Mexico border pushing back attempts of unauthorized migrant caravans to enter the country, but not now according to a leaked secret database seen by the press, federal agents have targeted a number of activists, journalists and lawyers allegedly linked with the migrant caravan that tried to cross the nation’s southern border last year.
Screenshots of the internal documents leaked by an anonymous official at the Department of Homeland Security revealed that the government was keeping tabs on at least ten journalists (seven of them from the United States), a US attorney, and 47 people from the US and other countries, flagged as suspected organizers, “instigators” or “associates.”
These individuals are believed to be tied with the Central American migrant caravan that reached to the US-Mexico border in November, drawing reporters, lawyers and human rights activists from across the United States, and also indicates whether they have been arrested, interviewed, or had their visa or Mexico border pass revoked by officials.
The database reportedly contains their passport photos or pictures from social media accounts.

The righteous parliamentary group leader of Ayatolin Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) Ralph Brinkhaus, “May Allah Shadow Fall Upon him”, is in hot water for suggesting that the Islamic Merkeldom of Germany may be led by a Muslim chancellor a decade from now, the slip-up occurring while speaking to a local evangelical Christian news outlet back in February.
“Why not, if they’re a good politician, and they represent our values and our political views?” the politician asked.
“The CDU is not a religious community that is what distinguishes us from the Catholic Church,” Ayatollah Brinkhaus said.
CDU lawmaker and member of the party’s executive board, Elisabeth Motschmann challenged Brinkhaus’s sentiments about the compatibility of Islamic values with those of the CDU:
“The values of Islam are very different from our values, for example, when it comes to questions of equal rights for men and women,” she said, adding that all the talk of Muslim chancellors was “unsettling” to voters.
Eberhard Gienger, another CDU MP, also disagreed with Brinkhaus, telling Bild that Islamic values including Sharia law, polygamy, attitudes toward homosexuals, and “even the position of women” in society were incompatible with those of the party.
Should this outrage be surprising to us? Not really, since the Mufty of Jerusalem was close personal friend of Reichsfuhrer SS Himmler, and thousands of Muslims fought and died in WW2 in support of the Hitler’s Wehrmacht.
