Demonstrators flooded a park in central Hong Kong on Sunday, chanting “resist Beijing, liberate Hong Kong” and “stand with Hong Kong, fight for freedom”, with many of them, clad in black shirts and wearing masks, waved American flags and carried posters that read “President Trump, please liberate Hong Kong” as they marched to the US Consulate.

“Hong Kong is at the forefront of the battle against the totalitarian regime of China,” said Panzer Chan, one of the organizers of the march.

Head of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Mark Green said after a flight to observe the damage caused by the storm on Grand Bahama and the Abacos islands, following hurricane Dorian hit on the Bahamas last Sunday with category five winds with some gusts reaching 200mph, he observed aftermath reminiscent to that of a nuclear bomb blast.

“I was struck by the focused nature of the devastation, there are parts of Abaco and the Bahamas that don’t show a great deal of damage, and then there are clusters and communities that were devastated, almost as though nuclear bombs were dropped on them,” Mr. Green said.

So far 43 people are confirmed dead, but the number is expected to rise.

China’s giant telescope picks up mysterious signals from deep space, as astronomers have detected repeated fast radio bursts (FRB) – mysterious signals believed to be from a source about 3 billion light years from Earth – with the largest and most sensitive radio telescope ever built.

Scientists detected the signals with the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST), and they are carefully cross-checking and processing them, according to researchers at the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (NAOC).

From late August to the beginning of September, more than 100 bursts were detected from FRB121102, the highest number of bursts ever detected so far.

Traces of uranium which Iran has yet to account for have been found by IAEA inspectors at a warehouse mentioned by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu in his speech to the UN General Assembly last year.

”Tel Aviv, which is not a signatory to that treaty, has previously received flak from Iranian officials for its alleged double standards, with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif pointing out late last year that Israel was the only country in the Middle East with an actual “secret and undeclared nuclear weapons program – including an actual atomic arsenal.”

One of the diplomats clarified that the uranium traces were not of a weapons-grade quality, and not purified to ‘anywhere close’ to the levels required for a nuclear bomb.
