1…………> Cartel Mule Arrested: Mexico

A large haul of cash was among three seizures made by authorities in Baja California this week as Federal Police arrested a man who was unable to produce documentation confirming the origin of a shipment which, upon further inspection, consisted of 31 sacks containing cash in various denominations to retrieve a shipment of US $10 million that had arrived by plane at Tijuana International Airport.

In another search in the same airport, a police canine unit raised the alarm over a piece of luggage that on the first inspection appeared to be boxes of antacid and painkiller medications, that in fact turned out to be 295 fentanyl pills, while the other boxes, purportedly painkillers, contained controlled substances.

2…………> Jalisco vs Zetas: Bloody Feud

Puebla gangster Roberto “El Bukanas” de los Santos de Jesús, a soldier of the Zetas cartel, had gained control of the so-called Red Triangle region of the state whose big attraction is the important Minatitlán-Mexico City fuel pipeline.

But the fight for the profitable fuel theft business from the states of Veracruz and Tamaulipas ignited the inevitable violence between the gangs and their leaders, leading to shootouts between huachicoleros, aka fuel thieves, in which 12 people were killed, including gang leader Jesús “El Kalimba” Martín Mirón, the victim of an internal quarrel. He was sought not only by the authorities but by his own gang, the CJNG, and was reportedly in the process of altering his face and removing his fingerprints through plastic surgery.

Martín’s death triggered a series of executions throughout the state, despite the deployment of a 600-strong force by the Army and the Navy.

3…………> DACA Is Dead: Trump

President Trump reasserted his opposition to legalizing the status of hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants brought to the United States as children, aka “Dreamers” by declaring that the Republicans should “go to Nuclear Option to pass tough laws [on illegal migrants] NOW”, and accused Mexico of doing “very little, if not NOTHING”, to stop migrants crossing its northern border.

Mr. Trump’s tweets referred to “caravans” coming, a possible reference to a caravan of more than 1,000 migrants, mostly Hondurans with their families, traveling together through Mexico to try to protect themselves against criminal gangs and harassment on their way to claim asylum once they reach the US border.

Mr. Trump’s tweets were met with scorn on Tweeter, including criticism from his former rival for the Republican presidential nomination, Ohio Gov. John “Pothole”  Kasich.

5…………> Living Planet: The Mekong under threat

The Mekong is the longest river in South-East Asia. Over 70 million people, living in six different countries, depend on this river for their livelihoods. But development is putting the ecosystem here under threat. Sand mines and hydro-electric power stations are changing the water quality, blocking fish migration routes and crippling the stability of the river banks.

1…………> Victims Of Political Correctness: Florida

“He talked about killing our parents, our friends, boyfriends and girlfriends. He would hit [his ex-girlfriend], he would threaten her, he would threaten her family and her friends, for talking to other guys,” Ariana Lopez, a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, and a former friend of shooter Nikolas Cruz who reported him to school officials “multiple” times described her encounters with the mass murderer.

“He used to sell knives out of his lunchbox, which I thought was like insane because you can’t have knives … [in] a school,” Lopez said. “He would talk about how he sympathized with Syrian terrorists and how people who opposed them should be killed.”

2…………> I Shall Return: Illegal Alien

An illegal immigrant from Jordan named Othman who came to the United States 38 years ago and helped revive decaying downtown Youngstown, Ohio, was arrested during immigration interview, then deported to his native Jordan.

His plight mirrors cases whereby a Missouri college lecturer and a Connecticut couple running a nail salon were targeted by ICE officers, the same officers whom he is planning to sue for locking him up and treating him like a criminal.

“The answer in an orderly society cannot be to simply suspend or eliminate deportations. Justice is also due to the American people, not just to Mr. Othman and his family. At some point, the reckoning comes due and the bill must be paid. What is the purpose of having laws if they are to mean nothing?” asked Dan Cadman, a former long-time immigration official and fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies.

4…………> “Accountant” Locked-Up: Gulf Cartel, MX

In a great victory for justice in their country, Mexican marines on arrested Jose Alfredo Cardenas, better known as “the Accountant” of the Gulf cartel, in the northern border state of Tamaulipas

“Presumably he was the leader of a criminal organization in the region,” said a statement from the Mexican navy, as military-grade weapons, cocaine and a vehicle were also seized during the operation targeting the Zetas and Gulf drug cartels.

1………..> The Rolling Nightmare: Mass US Shootings

The suspect in one of the deadliest school shootings since 26 people were killed at a Connecticut school in 2012, has been named as Nikolas Cruz, 19, an expelled student who returned with an semi-automatic rifle, triggered the fire alarm and then opened fire, killing at least 17 and injuring dozen kids.

“It’s catastrophic. There really are no words. We have already begun to dissect his websites and things on social media that he was on and some of the things… are very, very disturbing,” Sheriff Israel said.
“Just a horrible day for us,” said Robert Runcie, the superintendent of the county’s school district.

2…………> Market Report 02/14/2018, sell stop 24,600, CG(5192), 11/22/17

Short position closed at 24912, triggering cover short stop at 24500 with indicated gain of 1900 DIA points upon closing short position. Long DIA position was established at 24500 with a stop at 24600 was closed for a gain of 312 points. New short position was re-established at 24550 with cover short stop at 24600 for a loss of 50 points, later indexed down at closing to 24000 for a paper gain of 550 points. A market reversal triggered cover short position close at 24000 for a zero gain, new position long at 24,000, sell stop at 24600 for a paper gain of 600 DIA points.

Stock market old timers have said that “you buy the rumor, and sell the news”, and that is exactly what is happening right now, with Democrats screaming murder as a close look at the new FISA memos that are suggesting an incredible Constitutional crisis brewing, a crisis that may reach the very leaders of the “opposition party”. DIA resistance is in the 27,000 area, with supports at 24135, 21354 and 18900 level, US dollar in down trend, resistance at 1.003319 CHF, support at .92 and 0.9: Gold in uptrend, watch break resistance of 1377 to be taken soon. The massive Fed balance sheet contraction will result in a $600 billion dollars being dumped on the credit markets each quarter, a leftover of the horrendous $4.3 trillion money printing of Obama’s septic tank that will surely exert a severe pressure on stocks and financial assets.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

We warned long ago that an organized attempt to remove President Trump from office is underway, and if this activity is not curtailed soon, market will open on gap below 20,000 with next stop 17300 and 11800 support levels.

Stocks were up 253 to 24893, DJ futures at +97.

Gold up to 1357 and USD/CHF down to 0.9281 due to intervention crosscurrents. Translation? As the dollar goes down, we have to wait and see if the new Fed Chair Jerome Powell will continue pressuring gold and the Eurasian block with it down below $1000/oz in an economic WW3. Watch sell stop at 24,600. We have to wait and see if new Fed chair Powell will attempts to destroy Eurasian block by sending gold prices below 1000, despite the fact both Russia and China have been buying their whole gold production in local gold backed currency instead of money printing machines. In other words, US has lost controls of the precious metals complex, and with Trump’s infrastructure and tax cut campaign the National debt will soon be at, or over 30 trillion dollars, since D.C. swamp alligators have no intention dropping their pet projects. Read “Ziban Must Die” for more details on the coming collision of Trump’s administration with “Deep State” operators funded by the billionaires supporters of the New World Disorder.

3…………> Document Fraud:MA

Several Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles clerks identified as David Brimage, 46, of Boston, and co-conspirators Evelyn Medina, 56; Annette Gracia, 37, both of Boston; Kimberly Jordan, 33, of Randolph; and Bivian Yohanny Brea, 41, of Boston, were sentenced for their role in a scheme to produce false identification and documents fraud.

“Today’s sentencing highlights the HSI Document and Benefit Fraud Task Force’s continued vigilance against corruption schemes that damage the trust the public places in our government intuitions,” said Michael Shea, acting special agent in charge of HSI Boston. “This case is another excellent example of federal, state and local cooperation to combat this criminal enterprise.”

“The conduct in this case was egregious. We will always hold accountable those who violate the public trust,” said United States Attorney Andrew E. Lelling. “While these defendants tried to profit by thwarting legal safeguards they were entrusted with enforcing, the crime was more than that – the defendants engaged in a scheme that made U.S. identity documents – and accompanying benefits – available to illegal immigrants who were not entitled to them.”

4…………> Karolinska Study: Cancer Treatment

“This effectiveness against cancer may be a result of cancer cells’ seemingly greater sensitivity to oxidative stress when compared to normal cells, which in turn can be utilized in cancer therapy,” Prof. Elias Arner at Karolinska Institute, who led the study, said.

“This seems to work in mouse models and we are therefore hopeful that this principle for treatment can be developed for humans, even if this will require many years of further research,” he added.

A selenium-containing enzyme called TrxR1 that can be used to support the growth of various cells and protect them from oxidative stress, defined as the imbalance between the production of free radicals, which are highly reactive with other molecules, and the body’s ability to counteract or to repair the resulting damage.

5…………> Police Brutality:Mexican Police

Sovereign Federal State of Mexico, province of Veracruz government formally accused four high-ranking former security officials and 15 police officers of involvement in the forced disappearances of 15 people in 2013, after a graphic and disturbing testimonies from the survivors and witnesses of police abuse during which “detainees were kicked, hit with boards [and] given electric shocks . . . while they were handcuffed and their faces were covered with t-shirts”.
Crack anti-cartel units committed serial rape of women “drug mules”, and were accused in the disappearances of halcones, or lookouts, and small-time drug dealers allegedly linked to criminal gangs such as the Zetas.
